JBR VISITS SWAY IN THE MORNING
During BET Awards week, JBR visited the legendary Sway In The Morning with the entire roster for the official public unveiling of the label. Lead by Eric Benét, they went over the thought process behind the creation of the label, and introductions to upcoming stars Autumn Paige and Joe Leone. Sway also sung the praises and gave flowers to Alison Ball, noting she has been the driving force behind many producers, artists, and writers. He called her a pillar in the music industry and loved when he realized she was teamed up with Eric for JBR.
Autumn spoke of her upbringing and working as a bottle girl in a strip club and the turning point for her in her early career. Sway also went into depth about loving her records “Baggage” and “Rotation” as they spoke about the stories behind each song. Joe spoke about creating “Discipline” with fellow songwriter FellyTheVoice.
Delivering his trademark humor on stage, Joe also hit Sways big stage for the Garage Series and performed fan-favorite “Over Under” full of velvety vocals and dripping in soul as he wowed the audience in an instant.
